Artist's Book
This body of work grew out of a two month period of drawing and writing responding to the tangled streets, meditative courtyards and abundant gardens of Florence. Upon return these memories and imaginings grew, through paint, into an expanded world. The worlds, designed with a mixture of metaphor and instinct, are at once personally representational and mysterious to me.
